SlimUV™ Curing Lights

CUVO's SlimUV™ series of curing lights consists of the Model H24 and H36 handhelds and the Model 100 Bar Light. Unlike entertainment and consumer UV lighting, the CUVO SlimeUV™ series of lights are state-of-the art, LED curing devices designed specifically for curing applications. 

H24 -- The H24 is a 12" long / 24 watt handheld designed to be a low cost solution to curing small areas. The H24 will cure an oval area* of up to 2 feet by 2 feet from a distance of up to 30 inches. 

H36 -- The H36 is an 18" long / 36 watt handheld designed to speed the curing process by curing larger areas. It will cure an oval area* of up to 3 feet by 3 feet from a distance of up to 36 inches. 

*The effective curing area depends on factors additional to the lamp wattage, including the thickness of the applied coating and the UV reflectivity of the material being coated. 

B100 -- The Model 100 Bar light is intended as an overhead or stand mounted light. It is a 45" long / 100 watt unit with adjustable output power. At full power, it will cure an area* of up to 5 feet by 5 feet from a distance of 5 feet. 

Minimum Working Distance -- Curing the Clear Armor® coatings causes the coating to heat up. Curing with higher energy will shorten the curing time but generates more heating in the coating. Too much hear will result in a roughness or waves in the surface of coating that can require additional post-cure work to smooth out. For this reason, it's recommended not to use the H24 nor H36 handhelds closer than 12 inches distance from the curing surface. For the Model 100, it's recommended not to work closer than 36 inches. If it's necessary to use the Model 100 at a closer distance, as in a stand-mounted application, use the dimming adjustment to lower the output power. The Clean Armor® coatings are not harmed by this heating process. If you accidentily create a rough surface, sand out any roughness before moving to the next coat.
